Gulabi is an independent film lab, run by photographers who love all things film.
Established in 2019 by two photographers, we specialise in offering a professional, fast, and high-quality developing and scanning service for colour/C41 and black and white film. Running a local shopfront, we also operate as a mail order lab, as well as having drop points around Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Gulabi is for you whether you’re a hobby, amateur, or pro photographer. Scans always at maximum resolution as standard, and most colour orders delivered within 24 hours.

Big scans, always
We have invested heavily in our scanning equipment, so we can offer both the highest resolution and a fast turnaround time.
Colour film
We process all colour (C41) films, including disposable cameras! We take care of each roll like it’s our own. Put through our workhorse minilab, each film comes out crisp, clean, and consistent.
Black & white film
We can process nearly all B&W films, even very old and obscure stocks! All monochrome films are processed in a rotary processor with Ilford chemicals.
Shopfront
Our shopfront is open to the public Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 16:00 for film sales, order drop off and negative collection. We offer a curated selection of colour and B&W film in 35mm and 120, as well as instant film, camera batteries and merch.
