Gulabi is an independent film lab, run by photographers who love all things film.
Established in 2019 by two photographers, we specialise in offering a professional, fast, and high-quality developing and scanning service for C41, Black and White, E6 and ECN-2 film.
While running a local shopfront, we also operate as a mail order lab as well as having drop points around Glasgow and Edinburgh, meaning that getting your film to us is easy!
Gulabi is for you whether you’re a hobby, amateur, or pro photographer, and we deliver scans at maximum resolution as standard.

Big scans, always
We have invested heavily in our scanning equipment, meaning we provide the highest resolution as standard with a fast turnaround time.
Colour film
We process all colour (C41) films, including disposable cameras! We take care of each roll like it’s our own. Put through our workhorse minilab, each film comes out crisp, clean, and consistent.
Black & white film
We can process nearly all B&W films, even very old and obscure stocks! All monochrome films are processed in a roller transport machine with Ilford chemicals.
Shopfront
Our shopfront is open to the public Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 16:00 for film sales, order drop off and negative collection.
We offer a curated selection of colour and B&W film in 35mm and 120, E6 and ECN-2 film in 35mm, as well as instant film, camera batteries and merch.
We also accommodate out of hours order drop off with a secure 24/7 drop box.
